FOCUS LLP’s program “The Money Camp” is designed for children whose parents want to give them a financial head start in life! ” The Money Camp” uses an innovative day camp format for middle and high school age kids and provides them with the financial decision-making tools they need to create financial independence. Through challenging games, fun role-playing, unique projects, activities and group interaction, we make learning about money fun and easy and create good financial habits for a lifetime.

A little bit about FOCUS LLP...

Stacy and Shanie founded FOCUS LLP after being exposed to motherhood and realizing the importance of preparing both themselves and their children for the future. FOCUS LLP is dedicated to providing young minds with the correct financial tools to help them become financially free!

BIOS:

Stacy Cushing
Stacy graduated in 1992 with a B.A. degree from The University of Michigan with a double major in psychology and communications. Stacy began her career with MACY’S after she was recruited to enter their prestigious executive training program in New York City. There she worked as a department manager, assistant buyer and associate buyer until she was recruited by Speedo to be the buyer of their Women’s and Children’s division. From Speedo, Stacy went to Fossil to be an account executive to run major accounts, and served as an integral part of the team responsible for launching new businesses. Following Fossil, Stacy worked in a family business where she managed various accounts while she pursued motherhood.

Shanie Gundy
Shanie graduated from Manchester University, England with an L.L.B. and was sworn in as an Attorney in July, 2002. Throughout her studies, Shanie worked as a tutor for all age groups in different subject matters and eventually became certified as a Mediator as well. She then held the position of In-House-Counsel in a real estate company prior to starting up FOCUS LLP. Shanie lived overseas for many years and served in the military for two years. Her international exposure and experience helps her relate, understand and communicate effectively with others, and provides her with a broad scope and knowledge.
